End of March Update

Hello, sorry for the lack of updates recently. I’m currently suffering from what you call, a translator’s block. Hohoho. Can’t believe a day like this would ever come for me.

Work’s been pretty rough, getting scolded by customers here and there. (I’m working as a customer service for a mobile game company, by the way, though sometimes they get me to translate and proofread. @_@) And by the time I get home, I have no mood to do anything productive. But I will eventually get used to it, I hope.

And Tree of Savior is out too! Yay! Can’t believe someone actually recognized me though. Was ‘Jadeforest’ as a family name too much of a giveaway? D: Anyway, if you’re playing on Klaipeda, feel free to add me up.

Releases will return when I get back the mood to translate. Hopefully it’s in a week, and a month at latest. Sorry to keep you guys waiting. :/

Always remember: Your readers dan’t forcr you to do anything. I won’t deny that I miss your translated chapters, but you should still take as much time off as you need.

But next time, please tell us in advance so we won’t have to wonder what happened. The last time the translator of a series I followed suddenly went silent…. well, let’s just say it was Koongkoong… still missing him…

As someone who has work in customer support for a game publisher, I can totally understand how you feel. It’s very mentally exhausting, and when it’s over, you don’t feel like being productive at all. It was the same for me too.

I myself started working at a cafe recently. You basically stand up for 8 hours a day, tend to customers, and bulldoze through rush hours of insane amount of orders and angry people, all the while going through inventory, preparing new goods and going out to get more shit.

Where’s my calm Cafe life, where is it.

P.S: Even though I’m bitter about the lack of updates, I’m glad to see a notification about your status. I’d much rather know why the project is on pause, rather than visit the website once a day in the hope of an update.
This at least clears up a few things.

Sounds about right. For me, we have people flooding the tickets system with bots, DDoS attack on the server (where we will only say to the community that we are having some technical difficult) , people coming into the office, and people trying to dox me, etc. Of course alot of the tickets are fill with rage.

I’m actually just happy to see that you’re alive somewhere. Can’t remember where I left off with Zhu Yao, but it’s always nice to know that my God (slave) is well. Please ignore the words in parenthesis.

You can pay to play it a month earlier on steam. It becomes free to play on the 28th or something. I live in Australia and have been hearing bad things about ping for Europe, Asia and Oceania because they publisher are idiots and don’t understand that high ping sucks. So I’m looking forward to not being able to play it in an enjoyable fashion.(Sarcasm)

It’ll get better. The first few days are the worst because EVERYONE is online at the same time (more or less). We no longer have an hour and a half waiting times. (I logged on to the server then go for lunch, it was done by the time I got back lol)

Just endure over the 1st/2nd day hump and you’re gold.

I understand. I too just join work force about 1 and half month ago. Its pretty tiring at first. Even now I still don’t want to do anything after work. I have no life.
